The old freight depot is across the street from the station. Stebbins Store tie lot is a Safeway Grocery here. Stebbins Store is a Hardware, next to it is a 2-story building with a little leanto. Barnes Drug is now Homemades by Susannes. Next to that is the new Hanover National Bank. Across the street from Safeway is the new Coxes Department Store occupied by the IronHorse today. Notice that the road is paved. The "wye" is curving to the right across England Street to behind the freight depot. It continues on to along the alley behind St. Ann's church. Another part came out on the other side of the depot and joined the main tracks. It looked like a "Y." It allowed trains to be turned around.
Notice the fence down the middle of the tracks, the kerosene streetlights, the telegraph poles, the 1890s passenger station on the east of the tracks, the water tower for the steam engines. On the west side of the tracks you see first a frame building that was Hanover National Bank before they built a brick building. Then you see another frame building. and a long flat porch awning that may have been Stebbins Store. Beyond that you do not see Coxes Department Store. It had not been built yet, which dates this before 1913. Then you see Meyberg's brick building. Notice the dirt roads and the three tracks.

Notice the dirt streets, Meyberg's, the Post office, Hughes Drug, a vacant spot where Trevillian later built a one-story shoe repair shop that is now occupied by Bell Book, Puryear & Napier that is now occupied by Caboose. The building beyond was raized for a modern building and parking lot. Beyond that is the beginning of the residential section. Those houses were raized and replaced by apartment buildings.
